St Oswin's Church in Wylam has served the people of its community for over 130 years.

It is a sacred place at the heart of the community.

On MONDAY 18TH SEPTEMBER 2017 AT 7.30pm TOM BIRCH WAS INSTALLED AT ST MARY'S OVINGHAM AS PRIEST IN CHARGE OF WYLAM & OVINGHAM PARISHES. Subsequently he is now vicar of the United Benefice of Wylam & Ovingham.

    Our church is open daily from 9.30 to 17.30  (or dusk if earlier)

    Volunteer organist(s) and pianists are required and bell ringers welcome.

The church hall has been extended and modernised, and reopened on the 6th November 2016, following a service in church and dedication of hall by the Bishop of Newcastle.
